One of my favorite times of year as thousands decend upon the area to watch NASCAR. And another favorite activity of people watching occurs.
Women in bikini tops and short cut off shorts are the norm, with the occasional airbrushed spots being shown off as folks mill around the all day tailgate. Coming up with the best lines to get folks to stop is almost a sport in itself.
If you're ever in the area, stop by for the tailgate even if you don't have tickets to the race - chances are you'll find the something you like....

Sun, Fun, and Games...

Nice day yesterday, with warm weather and only passing shower. The sun was intense when out, and thankfully I was able to avoid racoon eyes, though some others weren't so lucky.
Couple cottages down is being rented by several younger women, most ~25 yo. "girls weekend" is how they described it. They played some ladder golf, corn hole and frisbee with us on the beach, then shared our fire pit last night.
Maybe it was the fire or drinks, but I would have sworn I caught that fetching brunette staring at me.

I met M at work ~4 years ago now. For the past few years, we have found ways to continue and stay connected. Both our families are at the beach this week, so after having met her on her early morning "run", I started reflecting on our first time together and penned an article about it.

..this morning I realize the smell of salt lingers in the air and I love it. It gets met thinking about other smells that I don't normally think of and how I enjoy from time to time.
Coffee is another. Don't drink the stuff, but early on a cool morning, smelling that dark roast usually delivers a smile.
What about you, any smells that you normally take for granted that when they hit you it's like bumping into an old friend??

Having arrived safely here, now need to run pick up some drinks for the weekend. Lots of options, that's for sure.
I'm mainly a beer and straight tequila guy, but the weather and surroundings has me thinking maybe some run punch will be the purchase tonight.
When at the beach, what's your drink of choice?

The lake cabin is nice, but think I have been there too much and need something different.
The mountains would be bit cooler and quieter but limited "viewing" options.
Think I need to head to the ocean, smell the salt air and enjoy the view.
How about you - what's your preferred "get away"?

So we stopped by the local Cold Stone and all the various flavors got me thinking.
If sexual positions were like ice cream, would vanilla be missionary?
