I am amazed and full of wonder... I have been a member here for about 14 years (and on alt.com before that)and my wife and I have met some interesting people over the years. Like everyone else, life situations change and, while the interest never wanes, the ability to participate does. 14 years is along time and lots can happen along that course. As has happened many times before, I became active again and have rejoined the community so to speak. However, this time is different. I have never seen so many profiles and blog posts complaining about how people on this site 'are not real' and are only 'playing games.' I think the members may be confused what they are doing here. It appears to have become a 'dating site' for finding the love of ones life. Profile after profile states "looking for Mr. Right" or "if you are married don't waste my time." Most of my messages sent are never returned. Of the ones that do get a response a clear majority scold me for 'cheating.' This used to be a swinger site so of course I am here. I don't think it is me that is mistaken. The changes in member attitude seem to have crept up over the last 5 years or so but now it is rampant. So, although I can sympathize with those having a hard time with the game players, the guys looking for 'free sex', and the so-called 'cheaters', I suppose I need to ask why are you here? You don't return messages. You don't want to meet. You don't want to have sex. Why are you here? And please, don't tell me you are looking for the love of your life on a swinger site! What has happened to HotMatch.com? |

HotMatch.com is a swingers site. However, there are so many other sites that log into this database and have profiles here. DateNation is a dating site and is also included. People have their reasons for being here. Some want to chat. Some want to blog. Some want to view photos and videos. And some want to meet for sex only. Some want to meet a life partner. It's up to each individual to weed through the masses and find those who are here for the same reason as they are.
