Wife Has a New Boyfriend

My wife is out on a date today. Two dates actually. She's meeting two guys she's been emailing with for a couple of weeks for the first time.
I thought I would be jealous, scared, or lonely...but I'm not. I'm happy and content. I sort of feel as if this is the way it's supposed to be. That our love is central and secure. I feel as though we're supposed experience more love, passion and sex than we can provide for each other.
We realized a short time ago that we're, in some ways, sexually incompatible. As two Subs, two givers, our natural instincts to sex overlap and contradict. Instead of a healthy give and take between us, it's an unsatisfying give and give. This leaves us both feeling unfulfilled, as though we failed to give the other what they desire, unable to give pleasure which is what we really desire to be.
Our open marriage and polyamory allows each of us to find someone to compliment our natures. To find someone we can give to. Someone we can please, someone who will take. Our lovers help us find the balance we need between us, help us find happiness and during the journey, more passion, sex, fun and love in both of our lives.

 Thanks for the note. You're right, it will (it does) take a lot of understanding and commitment. An unexpected, but valued side-effect, is the conversations, the trust we need to give each other has made the relationship between us stronger and happier.
