Despite the best efforts of the moral majority, sex is everywhere. Early TV had Jeannie, the Ginger/Maryanne debate. R rated movies added a bit more pizazz, adding a bit of nudity to the sex scenes. In a way, these could be more enticing since the tease is just as thrilling as seeing everything.

Some more notable R rated movies include 9 1/2 weeks, Secretary, Wild Orchid. Cable TV gave us Sex in the City, True Blood and a host of other shows where the sex scenes are much closer to reality than we could have ever seen 20 years ago.

In the 90's, all the closet kinky women were reading the "Sleeping Beauty" series, now they are perusing 50 Shades of Grey.

Pro Wrestling has Divas, Basketball and Football have cheerleaders and dancers.

Can't think of an advertising idea....just put your product next to a hot looking girl.

 I remember not being allowed to watch Wild Orchid and 9 1/2 Weeks, and just about anything with Sharon Stone in it like Basic Instinct and Sliver. I don't think any of them top 9 1/2 weeks though.
